Bharathi School highlighted the theme for the 77th Independence Day, 'Nation First, Always First', in its celebration held on the 15th of August 2023. The Correspondent and Secretary of Bharathi School, Mr. Sanjeev Anand, hoisted the national flag at the 77th Independence Day celebration ceremonialized by students and teachers on Bharathi grounds. The students' musical skit showcased the ideals of Subash Chandra Bose, Kamarajar, Bharathiar, Rani Lakshmi Bai, and Velu Nachiyar with great enthusiasm. A group dance, symbolising the Tiranga of our National Flag, was performed with a powerful display of patriotism. The significance of every colour was beautifully displayed: Saffron, indicating the strength and courage of the country; White, in the middle, standing for peace and truth with the Dharma Chakra; and Green, representing the fertility, growth, and auspiciousness of our land. Through a captivating dance performance, our students artfully portrayed the essence of women's empowerment, celebrating strength, resilience, and the spirit of equality. The tricolour group dance, along with the patriotic songs, evoked a sense of patriotism that enhanced the significance of the day.
