NCC - Army Wing & Air Wing

NCC- ARMY & AIR WINGS

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces that aims to develop interest among students in all three wings of the Armed Forces: the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force. The NCC is a voluntary educational programme that offers students basic military training and a wide range of activities that emphasise social services, discipline, and adventure training. This programme cultivates values of duty, commitment, dedication, and moral responsibility. NCC helps the cadets get recruited into the Indian defence services and civil services.

The motto of NCC:  Unity and Discipline

Aims of the NCC:

  • To develop character, commandership, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and the ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country
  • To create a human resource of organised, trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life and always be available for the service of the nation
  • To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces
