Bharathi School celebrated Independence Day on the 12th (Primary wing) and 15th (Grade 6 and above) of August 2022 by hoisting the tricolour with devotion and patriotism. All students and teachers witnessed a melange of activities radiating patriotism in its best form.
The middle school students celebrated the spirit of leadership with an engaging performance. Tiny tots dressed as leaders enacted a skit highlighting the theme, 'Emancipation of Women'. The students vividly depicted episodes from the lives of freedom fighters like Velu Naachiyaar and Rani Lakshmi Bai. An exclusive enactment included the greatness of Ms. Droupadi Murmu, the first tribal woman to serve as the President of India.
As the culmination, the Eco club hosted an exhibition on our National Flag, displaying the curated flags made by the students using organic materials.
