Nak/Sub Muralikrishnan & Hav Marimuthu PI Staff from 4 (TN) Battalion NCC CBE conducted the "Weapons training" session for Bharathi's NCC (Army wing & Air wing) cadets on the 18th of November 2024 at Bharathi School. This weapons training session is a key component of the NCC curriculum, and it is conducted to familiarise cadets with firearms in a controlled environment. Our cadets learned how to handle and operate rifles - including safety procedures, basic aiming techniques, and the proper disassembly and assembly. Additionally, Sub Ramesh Kumar and Hav Ganesan S PI Staff from 4(TN) BN NCC CBE conducted a Weapons Training session on the 28th of November 2024. In this session, our cadets were trained in stripping and assembling the rifles and cleaning procedures in different climates.
The School has taken its name after Subramania Bharathi (popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’) pioneer of modern Tamil poetry, a fiery independence activist, a remarkable social reformer, and a journalist. He is an archetype of revolutionary thinking, modern ideas, the invincible spirit of freedom and courage. Bharathi School is a quintessence of his tenets in letter and spirit.
