Bharathi's Army Wing [4 (TN) BN NCC CBE] Cadets, Avanthika M and Soundarya B, both Grade 9 students, embarked on an eventful journey to the Nilgiris as part of the 'All India NCC Girls Trekking Expedition - Tamil Nadu Trek in the Nilgiris' conducted by NCC Group Coimbatore of the NCC Directorate (Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman Nicobar) from the 13th to 20th of May, 2025. The successful completion of this trekking expedition pushed participants to their physical and mental bounds, fostering teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
The School has taken its name after Subramania Bharathi (popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’) pioneer of modern Tamil poetry, a fiery independence activist, a remarkable social reformer, and a journalist. He is an archetype of revolutionary thinking, modern ideas, the invincible spirit of freedom and courage. Bharathi School is a quintessence of his tenets in letter and spirit.
