Bharathi School held its Christmas celebrations on 9th December 2022 at the open-air stage. The students performed a Nativity play depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. Carols sung by children dressed as angels and shepherds reminded us of God's love for us as He sent his son to be one of us. Children from grades LKG to 5 danced as angels, reindeer, Christmas trees and snowmen. Students from grade 4 and above performed choral music. Santa Claus arrived in a car, and the tiny tots dressed as little Santa Claus, creating immense zeal and pomp among the audience.

The School has taken its name after Subramania Bharathi (popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’) pioneer of modern Tamil poetry, a fiery independence activist, a remarkable social reformer, and a journalist. He is an archetype of revolutionary thinking, modern ideas, the invincible spirit of freedom and courage. Bharathi School is a quintessence of his tenets in letter and spirit.
