To create awareness of protecting and preserving flora and fauna, ‘Animal Kingdom’ week was celebrated by Bharathi from the 19th to the 23rd of September 2022. Children from grades 1 to 8 had various hands-on activities in their classrooms, creating diverse animals of their choice and their habitats.
Masquerade, the concluding day of the week, had the Kinder Garten kids donned as resplendent animals, birds and fishes. They presented the canopy of birds, the habitat of forest animals and the minuscule marine milieu in their classrooms. The classrooms were brimming with a menagerie of colourful and happy animals.
This experiential learning inspired the students to study the morphology and habitat and to recognize the significance of the wildlife and marine species.
