Bharathi School celebrated Onam with great festive spirit, as the parents of Grades 6 and 7 came together to witness their children's vivacious celebration. The children looked elegant and ethnic in traditional Kerala attire, adding colour and charm to the occasion. An engrossing skit depicting the legendary story of King Mahabali was followed by graceful traditional dances of Kerala. The energetic boat dance was a special highlight that captivated the audience. Students from Grades 9 to 12 participated in the Athappookalam Competition, where they made traditional floral carpets (rangoli) with fresh flower petals, painting love, unity, tradition, and togetherness into every petal. The Onam celebrations 2026 featured a vibrant finale that honoured the spirit of unity and togetherness. The joyful event beautifully showcased Kerala's rich cultural heritage and promoted the spirit of "Unity in Diversity" among the students.
