2TN Air Sqn NCC conducted a ‘Mega seed ball rolling event’ on April 14, 2024, in which 2,500 NCC cadets from 45 institutions joined hands to spread green cover and promote environmental sustainability. They rolled a record-breaking count of 11.5 lakh seed balls with excellent team spirit.25 NCC cadets from Bharathi participated in this large-scale social service activity by rolling seed balls and filling 23 bags within the allotted time frame.
This environmental initiative, spearheaded by Wing Commander M. Pargunan of 2TN Air Sqn NCC, developed cadets' leadership skills by promoting ecological awareness and social responsibility.
Cadet Roshan I (grade 8) from Bharathi was declared the winner of the poster-making competition held as part of this event. This mega environmental drive is being recommended to enter the Limca Book of Records.
