Bharathi School conducted a training camp for selected students from the regionals who represented the Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry (TN & PY) region at the CISCE National Basketball Tournament 2025. In August 2025, the TN & PY Under-17 Basketball Girls team was declared the winner at the CISCE Regional Games & Sports Tournament conducted in Vellore. Consequently, Bharathi had the privilege of organising the "Training Camp for the National Tournament" from the 23rd to the 25th of September 2025. This training camp was led by Coach Mr. S. Santhosh, with Ms. R. Nimisha and Mr. Daniel Sagayaraj serving as team managers.

The School has taken its name after Subramania Bharathi (popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’) pioneer of modern Tamil poetry, a fiery independence activist, a remarkable social reformer, and a journalist. He is an archetype of revolutionary thinking, modern ideas, the invincible spirit of freedom and courage. Bharathi School is a quintessence of his tenets in letter and spirit.
