Bharathian shines in the CISCE Nationals Basketball Tourney
In the CISCE National Games & Sports Basketball Tournament 2024 held in Greater Noida from 20th to 22nd September 2024, Vijay V (grade 8) excelled as a member of the Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Basketball team (under-14). The team made us proud by finishing as the second runner-up.
Bharathi girls excel in the CISCE National Basketball
In the CISCE National Games & Sports Basketball Tournament 2024 held at Bhopal from the 24th to the 26th of August 2024, Rafael Anancia A (grade 8), Madhurya G, and Anagha H (both grade 7) were members of the Tamilnadu and Pondicherry team (Under-14) that secured third place. Rafael Anancia was selected to represent the CISCE Board in the 68th National School Basketball Tournament 2024-25, organised by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI). For the third consecutive year, Bharathi girls represent the CISCE board at the SGFI.
In the CISCE Regional Games & Sports Basketball Tournament (2024 -25), held at Vellore in July 2024, Bharathi School's girls emerged as the Winners in the under-17 category and First Runner-up in the under-14 category. It is noteworthy that Tharani M I (grade 9), Samyukthaa S M, & Spandana B (both grade 10) from the under-17 team and Anagha H, Madhurya G (both grade 7), and Rafael Anancia A (grade 8) from the under-14 team have been selected to represent Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Region in the upcoming CISCE National Games & Sports 2024. To achieve this feat, the teamscompeted against 21 schools from various districts of Tamil Nadu, and Pondicherry.
Since 2022, Bharathi's girls' basketball teams have consistently achieved podium finishes at the regional level, demonstrating the school's commitment to sports excellence.
