Bharathians bag gold, silver & bronze in the CISCE regional athletics
In the CISCE Games & Sports Athletic Regional Meet 2024-25, held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, Dhanya Sri A Grade 8 clinched the gold medal in the 400m and bronze in the 600m running in the under-14 girls’ category. She will represent the Tamilnadu and Pondicherry region at the forthcoming CISCE National Games & Sports 2024-25.
Bharathi School’s Relay Team comprising Sai Jayani K R of grade 9, Samyukthaa S M, Thanisha Sree A, and Panchami K S of grade 10 secured third place in the under-17 girls’ 4 x 100m relay.

The School has taken its name after Subramania Bharathi (popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’) pioneer of modern Tamil poetry, a fiery independence activist, a remarkable social reformer, and a journalist. He is an archetype of revolutionary thinking, modern ideas, the invincible spirit of freedom and courage. Bharathi School is a quintessence of his tenets in letter and spirit.
