The CISCE Regional Sports & Games 2022 Basketball Championship was held at The Vikasa School, Tuticorin, from the 22nd to the 27th of July 2022.
Bharathi School emerged as the runners-up in the sub-junior (girls) category. The team: Dhanya Shree C (Grade 4), Rafael Anuncia A (Grade 6), Aadhavi K S, Anishka V, Sai Jayani K R, Sri Varshita S and Tharani M I of Grade 7, Aditi Ashok, Diksha E R, Haritha E, Samyukthaa S M and Spandana B of Grade 8. Tharani and Sai Jayani were selected for the Nationals to prove themselves to the spectating world.
The boys team finished fourth in the junior category. Karthikeyan S of Grade 9 was selected for the national basketball team that ultimately emerged as the Champion.
