In the CISCE Regional Sports & Games 2022 KHO-KHO Championship held on the 26th and 27th of August 2022 at Tirupur, Bharathi School emerged as the winner in the sub-junior (girls) category and finished as the runners-up in the junior (girls) category. Lakshana P, Panchami K S & Thanisha Sree A of Grade 8, Apoorva S, Jyothitha P S & Rithika S of Grade 9 were selected for the national team.
Lakshana, Panchami, Thanisha Sree, Apoorva and Jyothitha participated in the National KHO-KHO Championship 2022-2023, held at St. Joseph's School, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, from the 18th to 20th of October 2022.
The School has taken its name after Subramania Bharathi (popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’) pioneer of modern Tamil poetry, a fiery independence activist, a remarkable social reformer, and a journalist. He is an archetype of revolutionary thinking, modern ideas, the invincible spirit of freedom and courage. Bharathi School is a quintessence of his tenets in letter and spirit.
