The I Am An Author Children's Day Story Writing Contest is a popular event that welcomes budding writers to pen and publish their stories. To inspire and celebrate the next generation of storytellers, Bharathi encouraged students to participate and showcase their creative talent in the Annual Children's Day Story Writing Contest 2025, held under the Budding Authors Programme.

These young authors, comprising both winners and runners-up, had their stories published in the anthology at no cost and received certificates in recognition of their achievement. The winners were honoured during the Children's Day Felicitation Ceremony held on 28 March 2026 in Chennai.
These commendable achievements reflect Bharathi's commitment to nurturing young writers and encouraging them to shine on bigger platforms.
The School has taken its name after Subramania Bharathi (popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’) pioneer of modern Tamil poetry, a fiery independence activist, a remarkable social reformer, and a journalist. He is an archetype of revolutionary thinking, modern ideas, the invincible spirit of freedom and courage. Bharathi School is a quintessence of his tenets in letter and spirit.
