In the English Literary Competition ‘Anecdote’ conducted by the Samskaara Academy, Coimbatore, in August 2023, Bharathians bagged several prizes, and secured an overall 3rd place. The following are the winners and the events they competed in:
In the Prepared Speech - Mathiyazhagi T of grade 10 won the first prize. Srinika R R of grade 5 bagged the second prize. Aaranya K of grade 5, Sai Lakshmi M of grade 6, Shrikrish S. of grade 7 and Anuvarshini S S of grade 10 secured the third prize.
In the Debate competition - Sri Harshini J and Suvandya N of grade 10 procured the first prize.
In Extempore - Prateek Thakur Das of grade 6, Laksanya of grade 9 and Bhanushri S of grade 9 bagged the second prize. Dhiya V of grade 5 and Neha S of grade 10 received the third prize.
In Turncoat - Aryadhaman Nair of grade 10 bagged the first prize, and Iniyha S of grade 10 won the second prize.

The School has taken its name after Subramania Bharathi (popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’) pioneer of modern Tamil poetry, a fiery independence activist, a remarkable social reformer, and a journalist. He is an archetype of revolutionary thinking, modern ideas, the invincible spirit of freedom and courage. Bharathi School is a quintessence of his tenets in letter and spirit.
