A total of 23 second-year NCC cadets (Junior Division -14 and the Junior Wing – 9) from Bharathi School participated in the CATC cum IGC RDC Launch Camp (Combined Annual Training Camp Cum Inter-Group Competition RDC Launch Camp). The 4 Tamil Nadu Battalion NCC, Coimbatore, conducted this 10-day camp at Kumaraguru School of Business, Coimbatore, from the 1st to the 10th of October 2025. Lt. Col. Lalremruata Oinam, Lt Col, Camp Commandant, 4 (TN) Battalion NCC, headed this Camp, where around 370 SD, SW, JD, and JW Division cadets from various institutions and units participated in the event. This 10-day Camp promoted a disciplined lifestyle and enhanced the cadets’ survival, emergency response, leadership, and teamwork skills.
The School has taken its name after Subramania Bharathi (popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’) pioneer of modern Tamil poetry, a fiery independence activist, a remarkable social reformer, and a journalist. He is an archetype of revolutionary thinking, modern ideas, the invincible spirit of freedom and courage. Bharathi School is a quintessence of his tenets in letter and spirit.
